Connecting your Magento store to PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise

Connecting your Magento store to the PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise allows you to manage data between both platforms.

Connecting your Magento store to PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise allows you to manage data between both platforms.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

Before connecting your Magento store to PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise, you need your Access Token and API URL.

Obtaining your Access Token

  1. Sign in to your Magento account.
  2. Select System > Integrations.
  3. Click Add New Integration.
  4. Enter a Name for the integration, an Email, and a Password.
  5. Under Basic Settings, click API.
  6. Set the Resource Access to Custom.
  7. Select the Sales, Catalog, My Account, and Stores check boxes.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Select Activate.
  10. Copy and save the Access Token.
  11. Click Done.

Finding your API URL

  1. From the Admin panel, select Stores > Settings > Configuration.
  2. Select Web.
  3. Copy and save the Base URL. Your URL will follow the http://xx.xxx.xx.xxx/rest/V1 format.

Adding your Magento account

  1. From the Ship Orders tab, select + Add Store.
  2. Select Magento.
  3. Enter the API URL.
  4. Enter the Access Token.
  5. Click Connect Store.
  6. (Optional) Set your default preferences for orders from this store and select Finish.
