Updating DeviceHub in PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise

DeviceHub checks for updates every 12 hours and automatically installs updates when they are available. However, DeviceHub can also be updated manually if needed.

DeviceHub checks for updates every 12 hours and automatically installs updates when they are available. (If the "Turn off DeviceHub automatic update for all users" setting is enabled by your enterprise administrator, then updates will not be automatically installed.) DeviceHub can also be updated manually using the following process if needed.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

  1. Right-click on the DeviceHub icon in the system tray and select Check for Update.

  2. In the window that says a new version of DeviceHub is available and asks if you would like to do the update, click OK.
  3. When the message, "Update successfully completed, DeviceHub Restarting" appears, click OK. DeviceHub will restart.
  4. When the messages appears that DeviceHub is online, go back to PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise and select Settings > My Devices.
  5. Select Activate DeviceHub.
  6. When the activation is complete, you can return to using PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise.
