Setting up pouch settings in PitneyTrack Inbound

These settings define how you want to set the pouch delivery status and if you want to generate multiple tracking numbers for pouches.

These settings define how you want to set the pouch delivery status and if you want to generate multiple tracking numbers for pouches.

Pouch Delivery Status

  1. Select Settings > Pouch.
  2. If necessary, select your Site.
  3. Under Choose from the below delivery status option, select the ON/OFF switch as needed:
    • ON: Sets the status of pouches to Delivered when the final package in the pouch is delivered
    • OFF: Leaves the status of pouches as is when the final package in the pouch is delivered (does not change the status to Delivered)

Pouch Tracking Numbers

  1. Under Generate Multiple Tracking Numbers, select the ON/OFF switch as needed:
    • ON: Adds a sequence suffix to the pouch ID. For example, Pouch1234 becomes Pouch1234-1, Pouch1234-2 etc.
    • OFF: Turns the status off and does not generate multiple tracking numbers for pouches.
  2. If you set Generate Multiple Tracking Numbers to on, select the Default Pouch Details To Use For Packages menu, and then select the desired options of Use pouch details for all packages, Carrier, Sender or Recipient.
